“To God we give the glory for over 50 years of dedication!”

Rev. Charles E. McCollum, Sr. has faithfully served Oak Grove since December 1975. With a heart for discipleship and public service, Pastor McCollum champions prayer, sharing the love of God, and fighting for those that need help the most.

On behalf of the Oak Grove Baptist Church PromiseLand Ministries, I am delighted you took the time to join us in our worship experience. No matter where you are in your life’s journey or what generational classification you fit in (Silent Gen, Baby Boomer, Generation X, Millennials, or Gen Z), we have programs specifically designed with you in mind. Everyone is vital to our worship experience, even children and babies (Gen Alpha). As you navigate your way through our website, you’ll discover that our passion is to provide a place where people just like you have a life-changing experience as you are spiritually uplifted by our anointed praise and worship ministry, music ministry, and powerful spirit-filled sermon(s).

Oak Grove Baptist Church PromiseLand Ministries is a place where you can experience a personal relationship with God, encouraged to foster healing and reconciliation and excellence in Christian service to others, are kept abreast of current events that affect our livelihood, the church, local community, and the world around us.

In the spanning years of the past four-and-half decades, Oak Grove Baptist Church PromiseLand Ministries has set a worthy example of building and promoting the work of the kingdom of God on earth by providing a plethora of in-reach and outreach ministries for the further propagation of the transformative power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. In recognition of the noble leadership of former pastors, I’m blessed to serve a congregation that is deeply rooted in the traditions and wisdom of a rich 160-year history that embraces a vibrant and relevant ministry for the twenty-first Century church.

Thanks to the faithful members who fight the good fight of faith with me in committing to the vision of being a shining light in darkness in the Littleton community and surrounding areas and fulfilling the mission God has given the church according to St. Matthew 28:19-20. May God bless you until we meet again.

“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 24:-25.

In Christ, I remain.
